I can't find hardly any good photos of brake pedal assemblies on automatic trans conversions. My brake pedal sits waaaay higher than my gas pedal, I'd like to even that out.

I have a Beige 77 fj40. This summer I've had the top off the whole time.

This was a few months back, but I saw this for sale at The Toy Barn in Dublin, OH. I am always driving around Columbus, I'm surprised mine wasn't spotted by this group.

Am I missing something? Because there is like 8" of space between my tire and anything above it.

This is what a reputable shop told me. They may have just meant, It wouldn't be easy. I will ask them specifically why they can't remove them. I don't need a ton of clearance, as I have quite a bit as it is, and will be driving 99% on the road.
