Brake Failure & ABS/Brake light on dash with alarm?

Yup, you are correct. Hindsight 20/20. Meant to replace it all at the time but just replaced No. 1 & 2. Probably would've saved a tiny bit of money doing it all at once, but what can I do. Just glad I was able to get it stopped without incident! Thanks!

Brake Failure & ABS/Brake light on dash with alarm?

I do not think it included the Booster Pump Motor (BR-49 of the spec-book). That is hindsight 20/20 on my part for trying to do something retroactively and not doing more research. They just replaced the master cylinder and accumulator. I assumed it all came as a kit.

Brake Failure & ABS/Brake light on dash with alarm?

Nevermind. I think I found it. Searching the spec book, I thought I replaced all those 'necessary parts' as apart of a set, but nope. Think I skipped the Booster Pump Motor. Sad day!

Brake Failure & ABS/Brake light on dash with alarm?

So, got a call from the mechanic. Apparently my 'ABS Motor is failing'. Is this not what the master cylinder/brake accumulator is? Can anyone identify which part this is with a photo?

Brake Failure & ABS/Brake light on dash with alarm?

The alarm went off, about 2 minutes later, I couldn't stop the vehicle as I pressed the brake to the floor. It didn't stop until I pulled the parking brake hard. I left it until next morning, drove it without traffic on the roads at 3AM, codes on the dash, alarm still blaring, however I had...

Brake Failure & ABS/Brake light on dash with alarm?

Yea, it must be a bad one then. It's brand new from 2,000mi ago! Haha.

Brake Failure & ABS/Brake light on dash with alarm?

Yesterday in rainy Denver, my ABS and Brake light on the dash turned on with the alarm sounding. About 2 minutes later, my brakes went out. Luckily was in a parking lot. I thought I prepped to avoid this when I paid to get a new Brake Accumulator and Master Cylinder (new). The rear also got new...

    Wiring Gasket Part No.?

Anyone have any idea on this gasket part number for the upper tailgate hatch? I noticed damp carpet in the cargo area and ran a hose above. Seems when I put pressure on this gasket, the leak stops.

Diagnosis Help -- Hum After 40+ mph

So I took it to Japanese Auto Service in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Slee Outfitters recommended them. They had it for the day to diagnose the problem. Basically; stop wasting money chasing the issue as it will cost thousands to not even find the right problem. They *definitely* don't agree with...

Diagnosis Help -- Hum After 40+ mph

For sure. I'll get a second opinion when I get the chance. I'm not going to rush into a repair; especially since the shop I took it too said it's not urgent unless something changes noise-wise.

Diagnosis Help -- Hum After 40+ mph

Correct with the below. Fluids all changed, rotated tirings. Wheel bearings replaced/repacked. Mechanic says it's the differentials. Recent repairs: CV Axles, Fan Bracket, Brake Master, Rear Calipers replaced, control arms, heater Ts, fuel filter, power steering pump

Diagnosis Help -- Hum After 40+ mph

Is that pretty simple to do? While I bought the LC to improve my mechanical skills, literally the first big task I've done myself is the wheel bearings. That's after watching countless YouTube Videos lol.

Diagnosis Help -- Hum After 40+ mph

Got the Cruiser back. Unfortunately my mechanic was sick with the fly so I couldn't ask the issue. However I checked tire tread depth. 6/16" - 1/2" still left for these Wranglers. Also, disregard what I said about the noise disappearing for a split second when releasing the accelerator. It...
