I have a 1979 FJ40, I'm looking for a good condition 2F engine and a 4 speed to put into the vehicle. If you have either one I'd love to take a look. Willing to pay for shipping. Located in southern CT

Thanks for all the replies guys. Much appriciated. I have been wanting to make the vehicle more original for a while and it looks like a lot more thought is going to have to go into doing this.

I thought I might add that there is no parking break in the truck right now.

I am the proud owner of a 1979 mustard yellow fj40 (see link for restoration) http://www.restoredfj40.com/images/current_projects/yellow80/ It was restored with a Chevy V8 383 stroker engine and a new automatic transmission. My question is how would I go about converting the transmission back...
