    Toe In Adjustment

Hey everyone, So I replaced my tires on my 94 cruiser with stock sized ones (had 285/75/16r) precious. I'm low on funds and got a great deal on oem rims with used tires with decent tread. Anyway, when I put the new used tires on, I noticed the alignment was real bad, the truck would wander...

    Denso Radiator for 1994 80

Good afternoon, A couple of years ago I bought and installed a Denso Radiator as it seemed like decent price vs quality part at the time. For a while now, it she's I've developed a leak at the top where the plastic tank meets the aluminum core. I remember reading someone's experience with...

NTK O2 Sensors for 1994 Cruiser

I just looked up the Walker economy sensors on rockauto.com and they look like the economy ones with NTK Japan stamped on them. Paid similar price. Got them off eBay, so be careful.

NTK O2 Sensors for 1994 Cruiser

Interesting. It seems yours has the mounting plate as an integral piece to the O2 sensor unlike mine. Mine did not come in an NTK box. Concerning...

NTK O2 Sensors for 1994 Cruiser

Hey y'all, I just purchased some NTK O2 sensors for my 1994 Cruiser and these sensors come with plates and the sensor actually screws into the plates which then bolt to the manifold. I haven't really found anyone mention this. From my research, NTK are oem for 1993-1995 cruisers. The part...

Hey everyone, I am looking for the inside diameter of the thin coolant bypass hose that connects to top of radiator via small nipple. It must have another name because I've searched for it and can't find it. If anyone knows the gates brand part number that would help too. Appreciate any...

Brake light not working with headlights on: 1994

Thanks for the info and suggestion, Malleus. I have found the root cause of the problem: ground wire that attaches to the bulb socket. For whatever reason, that was causing the strange issue of losing ground only when taillights were on and brake pedal pressed. I wiggled the wire and noticed...

Brake light not working with headlights on: 1994

Hi Dave, yes I replaced the bulb with a brand new one. I should also mention: when taillights are switched on, they both work. It is only when pressing the brake pedal and actuating the brake lights that the lights go out (from losing ground to the bulb socket).

Brake light not working with headlights on: 1994

Interesting. I have the FSM. In looking at it, it looks as if the bulb socket ground (for brake light) is shared with the Left-hand side. Similary, the tailight works the same way, except it looks like it has an extra ground wire. I'm not quite sure what this means. Wouldn't either the...

Brake light not working with headlights on: 1994

Thanks for the reply. I would like to find out exactly where the problem is before buying a harness. It is very strange to be that the bulb socket loses ground when the taillights are turned on. I did disconnect the trailer lights module and also removed, cleaned, and reinstalled the ground...

Brake light not working with headlights on: 1994

Hello everyone, I've used the search function and, though I got some good info, haven't been able to find a similar case. I have a 1994 fzj80. The brake lights work fine. However, when the taillights are switched on (with it without headlights) the right (passenger side) brake light will not...

    Cruise Control Troubleshooting

SUCCESS: After having the truck for 5 years (but neglecting to tackle this particular problem until last week), I finally have cruise control. The problem was indeed the stop switch. I tested it with an ohm meter, took it apart VERY carefully, saw the areas that were worn, and added some...

    Cruise Control Troubleshooting

Thanks for the insight. My cruise control has never worked, and messing with the brake pedal has never done anything. I do my own work on the truck, but don't know what was done prior to me getting the vehicle. It seems like it had a amplifier installed (and removed) before I bought it. I do...
