I think you're absolutely right. It's a 2g. I'm looking to replace it for something with an auto choke but the small bolt pattern is killing me. I'd consider selling this one if interested. Thanks for the response!

No, I haven't but that's a good idea and something I might take on this fall or winter. My goal is to get this running for the season then regroup and prioritize what I need to do on this engine to get it more fine tuned. Just looking for something to get me back on the road quickly.

I have an '71 FJ40 with a 350 swap. Carb has a base bolt pattern 3.25" by 1 7/8". I'm having trouble finding a replacement Carb with auto choke that will fit. I'm starting to think I had a Marine Carb on the engine. Can't tell what year my engine is but am guessing it is pre 1992. Any advice is...
