Been involved with old cars, at the time most of them American, from my teens but have purchased my first BJ40 (1979) back in 2002 after finishing an LNG project in Indonesia where we had a 1975 Diesel BJ40 with a 3 speed gearbox to commute back and forth from the camp to the site. Next to a very intense job with a high demand on international traveling it has taken many years to complete the ground off restoration but now I am enjoying cruising with the cruiser weather in Holland permitting.
