I’m running a Gturbo green at 18psi. I’m not a fan of it in the slightest. I’m running my egt probe preturbo. I’ve seen 1250°f. I have a HKS turbo timer that has 3 settings: 60 seconds, 180 seconds, and 190° oil temp. I pay close attention to all of my numbers when I’m driving. When it comes to...
So a little update on my Cruiser. I ended up changing the oil in my clutch, 50ml of 15k cst. Brand new yellow dot fan. Foamed every gap from shroud to intercooler.
I’m in Bryce Canyon Utah currently (wife’s grandparents summer here). Driving down from Reno Saturday, my gauges weren’t reading...
That picture was taken when I first bought it 3 years ago. My wheel was ran all the way in (backed it off 3 full turns) I now have movement at 1.5psi. My main screw was maxed out also, I’ve backed it out to it just barely idles. The pin is turned 80° from full kill now too. I’m running 18psi...
I have an aftermarket pin and now matter what, it is over fueling. I’m trying to find a stock pin that I can grind myself. Here’s the pin I have now. It’s a work of art, but with a green wheel at 18psi, it’s just too much fuel.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
The “new” ones from Toyota are no longer copper/brass, they’re plastic/aluminum. If I can find one from 88-92 that’s an OEM copper/brass, my friend can put in the bigger core. I do have a couple leads locally from some TLCA guys. They are looking in the boneyard to see if one is available.
I’m trying to get an actual core thickness for that part #. My friend, that works for Toyota cooperate, can’t locate any measurements. I’m curious to see how it compares to what I have currently.
Just talked with Griffin, 8-00275 is $1111usd. It has 4 week lead time. Ron Davis was almost $1500usd and has a 6 week lead time. I really just want to purchase once, and cry once.
Do you happen to have the core measurements on this part #? I currently have an aftermarket one that the importer had to install to appease customs because of a leak. The core is roughly 1.75” thick, so not much.
Thank you
