I removed the PAIR on mine and relocated the O2 sensors up top so should be ok but I’ll check the harness in that area. I know the harness protection is a bit worn so could have an issue.

Ya hopefully it’s a one off.

I think I’m going to replace my fuel pump and EFI relay for good measure. I’m not sure how often they fail but mine got close to 300k so good insurance.

Well it hurts my ego to admit it but turns out the EFI fuse was the culprit after all. It seems that when I used my voltmeter to check it, the multimeter lead pushed the fuse back into contact so I had 12v on both sides of the fuse while doing the measurement, but it was open circuit otherwise...

It’s good. I have 12V on the fuse so the fusible link on that circuit is good as well. One of the other one might not be though. Will check later.

It does light up when I jump the B+ terminal in the DLC. Looks like it’s either a bad EFI main relay, or the ECM is not commanding the relay on. I will do some more diag when I get it back home where I have better tools and more time. Thanks for all the help. I will report back what I find.

I should also mention that the rear defrost relay which is in the drivers kick panel is the same as the EFI relay. I swapped them but it didn’t work.

Update. Fuel pump seems to be ok. I got a meter and had no voltage at the pump. I also found that there’s no voltage at the B+ terminal in the datalink connector. This explains why, assuming the fuel pump is ok, the paper clip method didn’t work. I jumped the Fuel pump pin directly and the...

    93. Not sure about the CEL. Didn’t look for it.

It’s a 93. I tried jumping the pump but didn’t get any pressure. That will be useful for testing. I’ll buy a multimeter tomorrow to check voltage at the pump.

Hi everyone. The 80 won’t start. I’m in a parking lot in a small town. Close to a parts store that will be open tomorrow luckily but not sure how many Toyota parts they will have. My issue is a crank, no start and I’ve narrowed it down to a fuel issue. No pressure at the rail or coming out of...

    Sunroof leak repair

I should have measured how much I used. Didn’t realize that. The seal I had was meant for a much larger sunroof so lots left over. I guess you could just measure the dimensions of the sunroof to find out how much is needed. If anyone one is considering this repair and happens to be close to...
