Smog legal and no recent engine work. It's only been happening since the rebuild. Totally stock 2F. Carb cap has two uncovered holes that look like they should be plugged. Could this be causing the running "lean"? And what exactly does that mean? Thanks for the info!

Yes, under no load it doesn't quit out like it does under load. Also yes plugs/wires/ and caps are all new.

Hey all, Like the title says, whenever I'm cranking up my fj60 (with recently rebuilt engine) I'm hearing a burst of air coming from the engine. Also, when the engine is warm and I'm anywhere about 2000 rpm, the engine starts stuttering/hesitating causing the whole truck to jerk back and...

Mudders, Almost every time I start the engine cold, I'll hear a grinding noise the first 2 or 3 times I turn the key then it'll start. Any ideas on what this might be? I'm thinking its starter issues but I'm not too knowledgeable on this. Thanks for any help!

Any tan fuse covers in any of your fj60's?

Forum, I have an '84 FJ60 and I'm experiencing water that flows out of the AC unit near my feet whenever I turn. I can see the condensation building up on the unit itself but I feel like all the water should be going somewhere else - anywhere except onto my feet. Any help?
