What did you get upgraded to? looking at getting at least 3.5T if not up to 4T but would swap a built vdj rear axle in

Considering swapping my 75 cab with low km's on body and driveline onto a 79 series, are the body mounts the same? Obviously the hzj79 cabs are longer but do the mounts match with the cab overhanging or did they swap the cab mount locations as well?

Yea buddy, we worked out it was 330mm from rear of chassis to the middle part of the mount between the welds. Appreciate the pics. The chassis diagrams in the manuals dont show any measurements for the rear shackle mounts only the front of the rear springs

Found it, but i dont believe its listed in the manual. It needs to sit about 330mm from the end of the chassis. Mine sits at 300mm...

Hi all, Does anyone have measurements/drawings of where the rear leaf hanger closest to the rear of the chassis sits? Someone molested mine and shifted it back about 100mm to fit longer springs which is nice till it snaps from their s*** welding job.

Hello Everyone, I've recently acquired a 130L vdj79 rear tank from my local tip for 10$ and was looking for advise on how to mount it. Does the factory 79 series bracket mount in? 1999 hzj75 for reference. My car has no factory sub so no gauge or transfer pump/wiring for it either.
