More from the Car Care Nut on this head gasket concern both with the V8 and other Toyota models. Sounds like this issue may have been remedied in 2014 and newer V8s with a fully coated design on the gasket.

The Hamiliton standard car play upgrade is just a mirroring solution. I use both Google Maps and Waze...you should be able to use any map solution that you have on your mobile.

You might look into the 2016+ lc200 head unit? Not sure how it would compare to your 2003 unit.

My 2016 reports all 5 TPMS monitors independly. So Toyota did improve this 10yrs ago on the LC200.

Reach out to them, if interested. They do have an option with screen upgrade. They may be doing some additional development.

Possibly you do the full Hamilton CarPlay upgrade with the upgraded screen?

Basically the streaming package has built in memory and processing power to run standalone apps directly on the device and allowing you to unlock streaming capabilities. The standard version simply mirrors your phone apps.

What SW release is your Hamilton? Just curious if you were shipped an older version?

What year is your LC?…mine is 2016+ upgrade, wondering if you are working with an older generation.
