Hey all! I am relatively new to the toyo world. It all started when I found me a 2nd Gen 4Runner for $1200! Not a bad deal right? Well, little did I know it had been wrecked (inexperienced wheeling is my guess). I was way too new to the truck world, and a little too excited about joining it, and lacked the required knowledge to inspect the vehicle before purchase. Turns out the entire right rear had been obliterated and then put back together using stuff found under the work bench (probably hardware from other rigs). Any who, after 3 months with her in the garage mostly, I decided it was way too much work and money to even get her reliable for the road. She had to go, and now here i sit. Just 2 days ago, I had a buddy of mine reveal a secret 1997 LX 450 that he’s had for some time. After a day of begging, and a day off praying, I got the call! I immediately had her loaded onto a trailer and had her brought to SD Truck Shop. She’s getting a once over and I’ll be getting a list of repairs/maintenance needs recommended by James. I’m excited to say the least and have humbly joined this forum as a noob ready to learn from the masters!
