Windshield damage (stone chipping) compared to 4Runner?

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. factory new car, all original (yes, I'm boring haha) In my experience with sedans, the more modern sloping hoods caused more stones to hit the windshield, but those were generally single events causing spot damage (possible cow eyes), those I've...

Windshield damage (stone chipping) compared to 4Runner?

Hi everyone, If you've seen me in the pictures thread, I'm a relatively new owner coming from a string of 4Runners to the Lexus side. So I noticed though the cars are very similar in a lot of ways, the aerodynamic profile is quite different. The windshield is more angled on the Lexus, and the...

Having been in the Philippines I didn't feel the Prado to be higher. Do keep in mind Toyota has localized plants so there can be technical differences, plus I know in the Philippines they buy Japanese cars and literally convert them from right hand drive to left hand drive... and do a great job...

    Media GX460 / Prado150 pic thread

Hi everyone, new GX460 owner here. I've owned a string of 4Runners, my favorite was my 2018 with the Magnuson supercharger, we loved the better seats of the Lexus and the V8 is just so smooth, we didn't care for the previous model's interior but I think this version is spot on. We drove up to...

    Aging parents - softer ride?

I just upgraded from a '22 4Runner TRD-Off Road (with KDSS) to a '23 GX 460 Lux, with the 19" rims. The 17" sidewalls do absorb a bit (but the 19" give way more predictable cornering), however, the rear suspension on the 4R has much more travel and has a much softer setup. I find myself slowing...
