Thanks. Makes sense as it just goes up to a bracket that holds the transmission dipstick tube. There’s another one on the same bracket and it leads to the back of the transmission somewhere.

I was under my LC spraying some nuts & bolts in preparation for removal when I spotted a hose just hanging out. It’s on the driver’s side next to the transmission. Here’s some pictures for reference ( I tried to take pictures of the top of the transmission thinking there was a place for it, but...

I googled Impex, I had not heard of them. That was directly from Japan? ( I’m assuming so as you went into detail on shipping time frame…) Interesting site, but it said part not available, but it said that on every part I was interested in….

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hear ya. You’re probably right. I will change mine because it’s been over 100,000 miles, after that I will follow the same procedure that I do on my Tundra, drain transmission and refill every 50,000. It’s not a 100% fluid change, nor is it supposed to be.

Looks like you would have to remove the whole crossmember in order to change your transmission filter (drop your transmission pan)
