Hi all,
I have an entire 2nd and 3rd row of seats from a 97 LX450 (along with belts and hardware). Free to a good home. Tan and in really good shape.
I also have a new 35inch BFG Mud Terrain tire. Its old but never been used and shows no signs of rot. Also free to a good home.
I'm in the...
Having driven my built LX over Vail pass more times then I can count on my digits I can safely say it doesn't pull all that well but it makes it!
I think my favorite though was making the trip from GJ to Boulder in the middle of the night in a snowstorm. To add icing to the cake my heater core...
Dear lord, where do you guys find the time and money for all that? Nicely done!
I'm really really curious, can you elaborate/post a pic or two of the tailgate storage. Specifically the cutting board base?
It's on my list to do the same boat hatch mod but the cutting board bit has me excited...
I'd take you up on that for sure. I'll shoot you a PM. I have grand plans for lighting but was literally thinking today about just doing away with them for now.
Yea, no idea what happened, if someone popped it with a pellet gun while it was parked, or a rock chipped it at some point and it just...
I'll look into doing that when I have a few free minutes.
It isn't exactly camping or exploring but we slept in the RTT in the driveway the other night. Slept like a baby until the damn Weiner dog decided he wanted to come out in the fence next to the driveway and bark up a storm at 3am in the...
Awesome, Cruz! Love it and extremely jealous.
The kids being out school and work being wonky has def put a hiccup in getting my rig back to good shape but I'd love to take a run with ya whenever I get it there and it seems like an okay idea to be hanging with other people. Plus, I'd love to...
Thanks for this. It sure sounds like the fan but def awesome to have more to keep in mind when I get around to pulling dash. It's def gonna be a "while I'm in there" occasion.
Thanks dude.
I know exactly where that fuse is. Mine likes to randomly blow a few times a year. Always fun losing power to the gauges while driving but it's never been a big enough issue to deal with. I just replace it when it happens.
Edit - Doh! Of course I go to try it and the noise isn't...
Searching with the right terms def pulled up this issue. Although I'm having a hard time figuring out how far in I'm gonna have to dive in.
Thankfully (and sadly I suppose) I've got enough work to do on her that she won't be going anywhere far for a while (not my DD).
I've never pulled the...
It def sounds kinda fan like.
I'm going to go try searching for that but if anyone has any insight feel free to share.
I suppose I'm mainly curious, if it is this, is it something that needs dealt with before driving much? Radio going to burn out if I don't deal with it?
I'll report back on...
No real change in pace from revving the engine.
I did misspeak though as I sit here and try this.
It does it (but slower) when the ignition is in the "on" position. Not in the acc position. It's gets faster when the engine is turned on
-Edit, seems like Jonheld nailed it. After searching "cooling fan for radio" sure sounds like the culprit. I'll document a bit here when I have time to get into it.
So. As usual I evidently suck at search because I'm sure this has been discussed but I'm not finding it.
My 97 LX just started...
