I have been using the Donkey regularly and I guess that is hard on the old accessories. I get a howl at the higher revs while accelerating (leisurely at best) and at speeds of 50 mph (90kph on my dial). When I place the key to the off position and rev the engine, the howl is not present but...

It is a 12V and the back end attachment is the vacuum pump. It has an oil line to?from it and the hose to the Brakes. Thanks for the comments guys. I will go to the diesel section as well. Haven't had the best luck getting answers there. The FJ crowd has been more responsive:cool:.

It must be the season for alternators. Been using the Donkey regularly and now the alternator is howling at the engines upper RPM range during acceleration and at 50 mph and above. Now acceleration and 50+,mph are really subjective for a 3-liter B diesel. I move the key to the off position...

There is no mounting brackets for AC compressor or power steering pump on the 3B I'm looking at. I'll either source some or try what's on my B.

I've had no luck sourcing the injector pump. Mine does work with gentle acceleration up to about 70 kph/ 40mph but after that it feels as though I'm driving into a very strong headwind. My son and I have been troubleshooting and found that we could operate the primer pump while the motor was...

The only picture I have at hand show the offending #2 port. I am going to try disassembling it to hopefully see just some debris clog or worn out/broken springs. That'd still be a major issue as, so far, I haven't found any source for parts. A 3B would be great anyway if I can find one. A 5...

Put out this on the diesel forum but no response, yet. Does anyone know of an injector pump for an early B motor or a source for the individual hard parts. How much work is swapping to a gas motor or other BJ diesel is involved if I can find one? Advice will be appreciated.

It looks like the injector pump cam is hosed. Anyone got one?

Also, can the 22149-78010 work i place of the 22149-46010?

Do any of you have a source for parts for this pump? My searches have come up with nothing. Di find a primer pump for it but that works just fine .
