Thank you all. I ordered all new flexible hoses and master cylinder. I’m going to replace the rear calipers since I’ll have it apart and don’t feel like bleeding it a second time. I’ll keep you all posted on the progress. I replaced the front calipers this past summer.

Thank you. I though it was weird that upon first push of the brake pedal, it would be firm but then push to the floor, like it was losing pressure. Perhaps it’s flexing the lines. There is a slight “hissing” you can hear when pushing the brakes. Is that normal?

Ok. Let me rephrase that. Has anyone had a similar issue? How was it solved?

I used Blue Devil head gasket sealer and it got me through the winter. It's a process to do correctly but it held up ok. The Cruiser is at the shop getting the HG done right now.

I'm going through the same thing. It looks like I'm leaking externally, right under #6 exhaust port. Check there. Is there a freeze plug on the back of the block?

Wouldn't it do it in forward and reverse if it was bad drive flanges? This thing has only been wheeled once, very gently. If I'm on pavement and put in D or R and floor it, it doesn't do it. If I floor it in the snow or on dirt, it doesn't make any noise, it just spins all four tires.

In reverse, under load, it feels like it's losing drive, and sounds like gears disengaging. Could the transfer case not be fully engaged? This is in high range only, doesn't do it in low. Does not do it when all tires have traction. It only seems to do it when backing up and the rear tires lose...

I'm pretty sure the 2.0s aren't adjustable. I'm looking for a plug and play upgrade to stock. My rig is 90% on road right now. Daily driver, tourer.
