I am thinking of doing this exact same trip next year in the spring or summer 2025, I am very curious what the road is like from main highway to Chippewa Bay. Can any capable 4x4 make this or is better to go on an ATV? Planning on hiking up to Bunster Peak at the end of logging road HE527
