GROM VLine for CarPlay Android Auto in Toyota Land Cruiser 2010-2012

IMO, think it’s a decent (not perfect) option for 2013 to 2015 models… I just think the first gen 200 series head units have a hard time with the retrofit regardless of the manufacturer/vendor. FWIW - GROM does have a phone number on their website and they will answer tech issues (despite...

I would also make sure you’re running the latest firmware before getting too concerned 👍🏻 I’ve had mine reset the 75° a couple times but I think that was an older firmware

Yea I don’t blame you, just don’t fully reassemble the dash before testing - once upon a time (or two) learned that the hard way 🤦 I’d be surprised if the same generation LX didn’t work - Toyota/Lexus doesn’t really have many functional differences. Most are cosmetic w the same brands...

Link to cable - not sure why this isn’t just included w the unit since you specify make/model at time of purchase. Make sure to hook into USB1 at the GROM unit and you’ll also need to use supplied usb extension cable as the cable below is more of an adapter and won’t reach...

For my 14 LC, the box can just nestle in behind the screen. I tidied up the cables with Velcro straps as well so it was clean. If you use the USB converter cable as shown a few posts up, then that will bypass the factory USB into the grom device. Just make sure to plug the USB cable into USB1 on...

Can’t speak to the android version but as far as the USB, yes - you’d just need the USB extension to connect the lightening cable. You could also put one of these into the blanks on the right side of the steering column for a cleaner look...

    Transfer Case Tuneup and Fix

Ya have similar inhibitions - I got my new diff actuator a few weeks ago but unsure about which it is set to out of the box. Full replacement is pretty involved with the diff drop and all 🤢

Does the update do anything useful for the CarPlay side of things or is this predominately for the base OS if you’re using it for android functionality?

ECU Tuning & HP gains LC200 and LX570 w VFTuner - Starting from 100% stock

honestly, I’m sure they are both very similar in overall performance. MSRP is only $500’ish difference either way. I just went with the Harrop due to having 100+ sq inches more intercooling capacity since I live in Arizona. It’s hot…
