I need to replace a front engine mount on my BJ 40 as the rubber has split. My question is can I loosen the front and rear mount bolts and lift the engine enough to replace the front mount without taking the whole engine out? If so what is best way of doing it. Thanks.

You are not joking :). Ever the optimists we had a go at seeing if there was any life at all. Needless to say👎. On a more positive note the tyres had remained pumped up for 12 years to my knowledge and the newness had definitely worn off before that. I think they must have made better tyres back...
