I thought it was the 3 speeds with the 10 spline output. The 74 is the first year of the 4 speed with the 16 spline output.

Hello, new to the forum so if this is discussed on a different thread, or I'm doing this wrong please show me the way. Just picked up a July 1974 FJ40 and found a "FL 70" stencil on the side of the transmission and can't find any details about this. Curious if this is the original transmission...
