And as I discovered, as some fellas mentioned, you were right, 80 series and 105 series suspension is the same. And late 70 series have the same front suspension, but leafs in the back, but of course it depends on whether it’s been modified, as it’s also correct that some 70 series have leafs...

Haha ha! Yeah, confusing huh! THANKS for that. Looks like I should stick with 80’s suspension. And I think 105, pre 2007, from my research. Not many people do things in roundabout ways like I do. Need the car, to start that business, to make the money, so not to be a cheap skate cutting corners.

I think you’re right, the front is coils tho, which makes sense, since the weight doesn’t really change in the front accept when braking. I’m not gonna risk buying 70’s stuff but I bet the front shocks are the same. Thanks mate

Hi Team I’m sure this question has been answered before but cannot find the answer after searching for a long time. I wanted to know whether 80 series suspension (coils and shocks) are compatible with other Series. (I.e. can I buy a 105 series lift kit for my 80) Im trying to buy a 2” lift...

Very informative. I’m thinking keep the cruiser the same height. It has done everything I’ve wanted to do thus far and is pretty similar to my trailer height when level. I think swapping the springs for slightly heavier then stock, and new shocks. The airbags will take out the sag of the trailer...

Ah yes, airbags. Thank you for reminding me But shouldn’t the coils have a higher load capacity if I plan on keeping them loaded? Im thinking 200kg or more of constant load, when considering gas cylinders, milk, fridge and water surplus, I’m concerned standard 100’s will be enough. I think...

Great answer. So if I only raised 2”, would I need to correct the caster, or need these plates? I’ve got a set of bushings, awaiting installation. But if I have to buy new control arms and radius arms, then I think I’ll hold off and see what standard fresh shock/springs feels like. I’ve just...

That’s my hunch. Very rough ride. And the more I thought about it the more I kept coming back to stock. She blows a bit of smoke, I don’t want to push her more then I have to. By bushings you mean the control arm bushings? I’ve replaced back ones, need to replace front.
