Just getting back to this thread, I didn't realize there were responses to it.
I did the diagnostic mentioned above (hold the auto button + recirc on my non nav) and have codes 21, 24 and 46 saved
I can't tell how big they are as there's nothing there for scale, but off the top of my head they could be
- IP seal in the timing case cover (behind IP belt pulley)
- harmonic balancer seal (behind the balancer into the timing case)
- camshaft seal (behind upper timing belt pulley)
- rear main...
The dorman regulators Amazon sells have front drivers (The one I linked) and passengers regulators with new motors, with different parts numbers obviously. They have worked great every time I've installed them.
For the rears, I have only ever replaced the motors onto the existing regulators...
Replace the regulator and be done with it.

I would just seal up the oil pump for now as it is a relatively easy job, clean everything really well and keep an eye on the timing cover to see how much it was actually contributing to the oil leak.
