    perhaps my luck did run out, but thanks to good o'l jap imports i found another regulator the next day and BAM she's a runner again :)

    ah rite on.. been read though a lot of wiring threads on here and by the sound of things its the reg as there is on sorts anywhere i can find. all so im kiwi and its a jap spec truck. if that helps.

    pretty sure its the regulator. mite be able to track one down tonight. should be able to unbolt my reg with my left handed spanner....

    fuseible links are good. im going to try a new regulator as its only charging at 23 - 24v

    hi im new to this site :) names tom and i've got a problem with my cruiser.. i swapped some batteries over recently while the engine was running and the alternator stopped charging. got another one swapped it in and now this is happening. please help!!!
