Thanks for the quick reply. My rig is a 95 and i didn't have any "chain slap" noises. I know on my 22r's & re's that i had in the past the plastic chain guides would go bad and cause a awful noise from the chain so i would install the upgraded guides from LCE.

Couple questions, you guys recommend replacing the Tchain & guides while the head is off? Also while my head is at the machine shop I'm making a list of gaskets, Orings, ect... that i'm ordering from my dealer, are the head bolts re-useable or should i order new? Thanks.
