Hello, Is there a procedure to inspect and adjust valve clearance of 2UZ FE engine when the heads are been removed from the cylinder block? Otherwise, should the adjustment of valve clearance be done only with the heads installed on the cylinder block?

I did not forget to remove the service bolt after reinstalling cams, because the cylinder heads were put in the engine by myself.

I did not checked the valves shims because the seller told me that it was done by the grinding workshop.

Hello, here are the assembled heads. The bolts were tight at 32 Nm, then +90° and +90° as in FSM. For tighting heads bolts at + 90° and +90° , I did not use a ratchet wrench but a T handle wrench because in that way I tightened the bolts using the long arm of T handle as a protractor,
