Ok, I found this:
It's a similar setup, it seems. The large wheel is like the front one on mine - it locks or unlocks the bar adjustment. The thumbwheel on top is like the rear one on mine - it applies or releases tension on the bar.
Felled some trees to make room for the sceptic tank. Milled the trees up on the Woodmizer LT 15 to build the solar panel system for the cabin in Alaska.
Track tensioner cylinder is frozen. Could not get it backed off / loosened in order to put the track back on. Also found a few broken bolts that I had to drill out.
Removed the assembly.
Picked up a Lucas M613 that was missing some parts and needed some maintenance.
Converted it to a swing blade dimensional saw mill.
The biggest cant it will mill is a 6”x6”.
I bought a 20V Dewalt chainsaw specifically to cut small stumps at ground level. It has the toolless chain adjustment and has worked great despite cutting in the dirt. Intent was to sacrifice the saw but it's still going strong after 3 new chains.
Depends on the brand and model.
STIHL came out with the Quick Chain Adjuster in the early late 80’s / 90’s. They have proven to be bullet proof. They are only offered on the homeowner sized chainsaws when two bar studs are not needed.
