This Vehicle is running!!! The vehicle runs well. It has 4 wheel drive and has a PTO-driven winch that works. Recent work includes a new carburetor and starter. It has 5 good tires. It needs paint and restoration work. Great project or drive pretty much as is, lights and turn signals are only thing that needs to be addressed to make street worthy. This vehicle will go anywhere. Looking for good home. Located in Petaluma, Ca just North of San Francisco.

Asking Price: $4,500

As requested by those interested!

a1959fj25's Photostream

As requested by others interested I hope this photo slide show properly conveys the current state of the vehicle. As I stated earlier it is in good condition and would be an "easy" restore, great for a beginner. Hate to give Her up but since I cannot give Her the attention she deserves I would rather she go to someone who has the time and resources to bring Her back to original glory. She has been very good to me over the years and I hate seeing her sit idle.

I will be taking a look at it, I will be in town next week. Anyone want me to take any pics or look at anything?

Pictures of the wheels and axles would be helpful since both were FJ25 only While a after market soft top the color is close to stock unlike my black Kayline top. The Engine is a 72/73 F155 but the transmission appears to be stock. Finding a F135 would be easier than trying find a transmission and transfer case. Having the stock PTO is big plus. Over all I would say this is a great candidate for a restore.

So the real question is...

Does anyone have a spare F120, drivetrain, and a set of bows to return her to stock? ;)

Is that the smaller FJ25 PTO?

I believe it is the early PTO winch with the single roller. But the size of the winch is the same as the later ones. I know the distributor was different but I believe the rest could be made from a FJ25 F135. Valve cover and oil fill tube are the same as the earlier F120. Those are as hard to find. The shifters look correct for a FJ25 so the rest of the drive train could be stock. As for the top I would be happy with the one it has now since it is more than most have.

Not any more! It's getting ready to go under the knife for a full, completely stock restoration and will be placed in the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum at Proffitt's Cruisers' Miller Motorsports Part location.

We'll need some pieces...hope some of you guys have spares for sale. I'll post up when I have a list of what we need.
