Hey everyone,

I didn't see an intro forum, so I figured this was a good palce to start. I can't believe I waited this long to join, but I'm glad I did!

I'm in Oregon near Portland, and I am 95% done building a 1988 4runner. Here are the specs:

*1988 Toyota 4Runner
*1989 Toyota Supra 7MGTE tubro I-6
*R154/R150 hybrid transmission
*Dual transfer cases
*Unimog 404 axles, stock lockers and 7.56:1 gears
*Rogue Fabrication recentered H1 beadlocks with 42'' TSLs

I still have to replace a bearing in my chain drive T case, make a rear bumper, finish up my front locker cable install, and do a few other odds and ends. Oh and double the boost on my motor!

I also run a small business making tools and various other 4x4 parts (but I'm not just here to advertise, that will come later and be paid for to support this forum!)

Nice :)

Ill be up there in Sept for CTW.

Hey Joe, Welcome to 'Mud (official salute) :flipoff2::beer:

I thought your screen name was RockRogue? Changed it? Star Up for sure in here since you do have a market base, just not as hardcore as Pirate?

I'm looking forward to your contributions in here.
:steer::clap::cheers:

p.s. I'm curious how you solved the axle wrap on the front end when you jump on the skinny pedal. That engine throws plenty of torque without a turbo. :D

Yes, I am known as "RogueFab" everywhere except pirate. But I don't want to kiss my 400 posts goodbye, we don't have time to spend online with so much to do in the shop right now :crybaby:

We are working with woody on an ad campaign that will include vendor/star, we aren't going to be freeloading much longer!

That is crazy! I have only been up there a few times with this rig. I ride my dirtbike there all the time though. I will have to check that out.

Oh and I have links, so no real way to get axle wrap. I handle the torque with 12" of end link separation on the rear axle (9 on the front). I have burned out one of my 42's on dry pavement without carnage yet...

And my shocks are staggered, driver's side in front of axle and passenger in rear. But with links, that rdoesn't really matter much.
