In the Crusty tradition, the club is hosting a New Years Day club run open to club members and their guests.

Burgers/Dogs/Pop will be supplied, so please RSVP so Cam knows how much grub to get.

This is a family friendly, gentle wheeling, snow run. Dress for snow; bring a friend.

We're meeting at the Duncan (Drinkwater Road) Tim Hortons (across from the Forest Museum) at 9:00 AM and will be leaving no later than 9:30 AM.

I will absolutely positively maybe or maybe not show up.

Western Equipment already has my chains in! I just ordered them, that was super fast. Looks like I'll be practising in my driveway this weekend

Chains do not work that well in deep snow - floatation is the ticket

i wouldn't trust the built on tighteners unless you like making new inner fenders :)

You ever see the aftermath of chains coming off?

yeah, that's what I was getting at, I had some "rental" chains at mt washington come off once because all they had was those bloody little cam locks that do sfa.

them yeller things would have saved me some brake lines.

Oh well... I'm going to try them. I know how far I can get without... :hhmm:

I bought them more for safety on the roads when we go north to visit the family.

Guess Im going to have to brave the cold and give the Sixty some love. Once the rear seal is dealt with ll go get burgers, dogs, buns, pop etc.

If you want me to get you anything fancy just let me know and Ill tell you to get it yourself. Oh I kill myself.....

Seriously though, lets get a head count by the 29th or so. That way I can get what needs to be got 'n all.
(that sounded a bit prairie )

Ah Ya..... No problem. Ill get right on that.

All I ask in return is for an m101 to pack all those beans around. ll grab a case of Chianti and with any luck my left nut won't have to make an appearance in the cold weather.
:flipoff2:

I rather hope neither or your nuts make an appearance...but that's just me. There may be a different opinion amongst the 80 crowd...:flipoff2:

I'm in. If you run chains your going to be at the ass of the parade cause you just chew every thing up!

Hey Jay..... If you have the next couple of days off lets meet up and grab food for the group.

Ive given up waiting for better weather, axle seal is going in Friday.
