Hey all,
Last weekend, we did a run down to Johnson Creek road by Taylor, and had a fun day of wheeling a tight trail down to the Peace River, did some fishing, then went back out. The trail was fairly easy except for a few washouts, and I had to winch once because I plowed my front shackles into the creek bank. Lots of downed tree chopping! On the way back is when the fun started, as Kim flopped his truck when he wasn't paying attention and talking to his copilot. Adam winched him over, and I winched him back. Then on the last obsticle, Mike Rolled his 4runner 3times down a revine about 50feet down. It was the scariest wheeling event I have ever seen. HE was ok, but he was sure being thrown around(as was his gear) like a rag doll. The truck is pretty much totaled, but me and Adam winched him out, and he did drive it home.
Enjoy the pics.

Winch up starts by me winching to snatch block to put the 4runner on the wheels, then dual winches to get it up the steep slope.

every time I drive past an area like that with the never-ending side hill, i think to myself "that would really suck to roll down that"

Ha! reminds me of a time when you had a few issues turning around on a little big bar trip :D

I don't want to rag on poor Mike, but it had a lot to do with drivers error, as just before I went Adams jeep had some troubles, so I dug out a trench on the up hill side, so that my tires could follow it and not slide down hill, then Mike went, and somehow wasn't watching where his tires were, and then turning his tires down the hill instead of up as we were all yelling at him to do. Oh well, S#!* happens I guess.
