Please confirm Transfer Indicator Switch for me...

I'm troubleshooting my CDL light not coming on - I've read lots of posts and finally came across the 'paper clip' short on the Slee site.

I followed the directions there and voila - got the CDL and ABS to illuminate. According to the site if the short produces the lights that means that the Transfer Indicator Switch (84222-12010) is bad. I just want to make sure this is the right part before I order it.

Funny, I'm getting ready to replace that switch too. I haven't looked at it yet but maybe one of these links will help you confirm?

Looks like the correct location; at the front passenger side of the transfer case, you need a 27mm wrench to remove it. I cleaned mine by spraying quick dry electronics cleaner into the switch behind the detent ball, worked the ball up and down 20 times then blew it out with compressed air.
