I decided to upgrade the radio in my Cruiser to something with an aux input and Bluetooth capabilities. I settled on this one because of the great reviews and it can be made to match the green dash lights.

JVC Mobile Entertainment \ KW-XR810 - KW-XR810 \ Introduction

It sounds a LOT better than the Sony I had installed before and looks better too. There's no engine whine or any interference and picks up radio stations better. The factory amp is still disconnected.

Install was easy reusing the factory mounts and Sosche wiring kit that i bought for the Sony and it fits without trimming the dash. Info on the Sony I had: https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/188976-sony-xplode-cdx-m650-installed.html

It sticks out further than other headunits but doesn't look bad.

The Bluetooth sound is clear when speaking and listening to music from my phone. I haven't hooked up the phone through the aux input yet to hear how it sounds.

That looks nice and pretty

I ran the rear usb port wire to one of the lower dash blanks and mounted the Bluetooth Dongle through it. I just dremmeled a hole and made a sticker to go on it.

Next up mount the microphone in the cubby space above the radio.
