So, I'm thinking about modifying my gage cluster "warning" lights. I want lights showing when my ARB (soon to be ARBs) is on and when my in-cab winch controls are armed. There are empty light positions that already have runs to them on the flexible circuit card. All I should have to do is add light sockets and patch into the wiring harness. I already have two defroster switches to use as locker activaters and a 4-Runner locker switch to use as a safety lockout. My winch is already wired using a lockout switch and a 4-Runner rear window up/down turned in/out.

My bigest problem is what symbol to use for my lockers. Which one should I use?

I like these ones... Gives it a factory look.

I disagree the FARB and RARB are simple, clear, cool, and VERY unique in a subtle way. I'm interested in how you fab this and will wire it all up.

I agree. Go with the one that looks closest to OEM.

Me, too.

But if I wanted to use the word "ARB" in it, then I would put something like "ARB:FR and ARB:RR" or whatever Toyota has on the factory rotary knob.

Cool idea and looks pretty spiffy!

does your cluster not have the factory diff lock symbols in it? mine did, but now center diff lock

how do you make the symbol/install it?

I like the FARB and RARB symbols. I am also interested how you are going to get these symbols integrated into the dash. I am getting ready to buy my front and rear ARB's and am very interested.
