Is the fuel filter warning light on the dash associated with the main filter or a second filter on the subtank transfer assembly? May be a diesel-only function. Thanks.

It's asociated with the main filter that actually have the sensor ( 1HD-T ) on bottom.

What year is your truck? The pre-1/95 OEM subfuel transfer ECU diagram has a signal leaving the ECU and going to the fuel filter light. Not sure why it would originate from the subfuel circuit if its tied to the main filter and fuel system...

Not sure it it's true in Panama where Tapage is, but "1HD-T" was available from '90-'92 (1HD-FT, and then 1HD-FTE followed thereafter).

HTH's and good luck, Jim!

Impresive but here we have 100 series with the old 1HD-T 12V .. mine it's 95 and you can buy a 80 with the 1HD-FT or simple the 1HD-T ...

And is there just that one fuel fiilter then? Has your light ever come on and if so, how to did you get it to go off? Trying to figure out if the OEM wiring circuit requires that this connection have continuity or if I can just term it.

At the end I have only one fuel filter at the engine bay .. if you see under my HDJ-80 you will see the solenoid system that swap the diesel from the main tank or from the sub-tank ..

My filter light never come on .. not at least from I own the Cruiser ..
