After browsing through several builds here on mud over the last couple of hours, I decided to share some of my projects that have been going on over the last few months. So far over the last year, I have completed a spring over, rust annihilation, Desert Sand monstaliner, carpet kit from JT, a bunch of engine work including desmog, new water pump, and a saginaw ps conversion(which made a huge difference btw). And more recently, I built a winch bumper and installed an ARB locker and compressor. I purchased the RD142 which is the non c-clip version (dumb mistake on my part) but it was new and I got it for about 3/4 the cost new. So as you can guess it ended up going in the front. I'll get the RD153 sometime soon for the rear. (which has the windows for the c-clips).

Lockers are a thing of beauty. I get just a split second rush looking at the pics.

You'll notice my locker switch says rear but its not, its for the front. The front locker rocker switch was missing from the box(it had been opened already, just not installed) You might also notice that I am in great need of some front driveline work. My slip yolk hasn't come apart yet but it is something that needs to be fixed.
Here are the pictures of my front bumper. I had more pictures of the pieces before the were welded together on my brothers iphone but he dropped in a stream while fly fishing. Its got two pieces of 5/8 plate that slid into the frame rails and the winch plate is 3/8 plate. The rest is just 10 gauge sheet metal cut out on a plasma cam. I wanted it so sit high and tight for a better approach angle (which worked but I've got to massive shackles hanging down ready to catch a rock :bang: so perhaps I'll have to work out a shackle reversal)

oooh! it just happened again.

Agreed, too bad they're one of those parts you only get to see once and then get covered up forever.

Aesthetically pleasing to be sure, but you'll feel that rush again, when you approach that rock wall that in the past you would have slipped and skidded all over, and now you roll up it with ease.

Do you only have a front locker? Also is that a 62 fender?

No its just a 60 fender. And yes I only have an arb in the front right now. I may drop in a spartan or lockright soon but I'll eventually have an ARB in the rear.

Whoops for some reason I thought only 62s had that side light, my bad

x2.
Just an fyi, a giveaway that it's a 60 fender is the round 60 headlights, there's a small difference in that area from 60/62.

My 62 has round headlights.. Its an early model (1985)
