Before you read this, I realize that these new ARB front bumpers are designed for a Warn 8274, M80000, or the XD9000, but I have a M12000 that I took off a FZJ-80 that was sold recently. I actaully was just about to sell it and get a 8274, but took some measurements instead.
All I had to do was trim a 2x3" piece of the ARB and the heavy pig bolted right up. Really if you want to relocate the box, you wouldn't have to do any trimming.
I included some pics and just wanted to let everyone know that you have another winch option.

looks good! did you have to clock your the outside of the warn different?

Thanks, I'm really happy it worked out as this winch is a beast! I didn't change a thing from how it was mounted on the 80. I'm honestly suprised that ARB doesn't list this winch, as it fits in there so nice. Kinda a pig to lift into that bumper though. I'm not sure how much it weighs, but I need to hit the benchpress a bit more during workouts. lol

I'm considering an M12000 too but I have an older style ARB. Does anyone know if it would fit in my bullbar?

I also have a question regarding the removal of the piece from the bumper. Any structural engineers out there who think this might weaken the bumper, especially considering the pulling power of the winch?

Yes with minor grinding on the bullbar, at least that what I did in mounting a M12000 in an ARB.

Do you have photos of this? The winch is a distance away from me and I'd like to know if its possible before I drive.

I can take photos on Saturday and will post them then.

I can't say how much grinding was needed because all I did was grind a little, test fit, grind a little more, and repeat until the winch could be squeezed in.

here is a link to the pics of mine .. its a olde skool low mount winch bar very small cut to fit it in.

Looks good in that bumper! You had even less trimming than I did. That old school ARB just looks "right" on a 60. Kinda wish they still carried the old style, I probably would have purchased one.

I LOVE IT AND THE SIDE BARS .. the old low mount was made for a M10000 so its close ... I bet the "new" VR12000 would fit better its a small case winch

The M12k I'm looking at would likely fit then. The next question is, how much is it worth. I'll move this discussion over to the winch/recovery forum.

Nice truck! Mind me using it on my website?:) Since you are rockin the LED kit:)

Our trucks have the same setup except mine is a mall crawlin 100:censor:

Feel free to use it on your site. I can get you a little better outdoor shot if you PM me your e-mail.

Do have a pic of the part you trimmed ??

Yeah, It's hard to see in the first pic, but I trimmed a 2x3" piece for the solenoid pack. If I wanted to, I could have got away with no trimming if the solenoid pack was mounted remotely. I can get a better pic if you or someone else needs it, just too lazy to wander to the shed right now. ;-)
