Hey guys, First post in the 60-wagon section, But many in The BSLCA(Bayou State Louisiana) section.

My rig can be found here

https://forum.ih8mud.com/la-bayou-state-land-cruisers/478739-codys-fj62-88-a.html

Ok, I'm looking for a custom/unique switch.

I'm looking to wire up the roof lights, and I've got 4.
2 face straight forward. 2 kinda out to the side.

\\\ ||| ||| ///
0 0 0 0

2 1 1 2

I wanna make 2 circuits.

One position on a switch makes the 2 inside turn on. (Circuit 1)
Middle position on switch takes both circuits turn on. (Circuit 1 & 2)
Two position on switch makes 2 outside turn on. (Circuit 2)

Is there such a possible switch out there.
a On/DoubleON/ON

I know there are plently of
On/Off/ON
or
On/ON
Or
On/Off

But none like I want, that I know of.

I'd perfer it look like my current switch, but I'd be willing to get a new style if I could replace my current switch also.

The current is
Off / One / One & Two
Or
Off / Fog / Fog & Roof

The current I'm talking about is my green one.
It does what I want. I'm needing the second switch to replace the red/orange ones.

The orange/red are just temperary, they work, but not like I want....

Any questions comments welcome.

Thanks
Cody

You could have 2 separate switches. A lockout one for only ON/OFF (master power) and a 3-way rocker switch that has like: ON (circuit 1) / ON (both) / ON (circuit2).

I don't know how to wire that up, but that's an idea for how to use switches.

Correct. That's exactly what I'm looing for.

I already have switch on. It's the green one I've got.

The 3 war rocker, is the one i need. I can get the ON/OFF/ON, But Can't find the
ON (circuit 1) / ON (both) / ON (circuit2)

.

Thanks

Go to kenworth or any truck place like that and ask for a three stage engine brake switch. The engine brakes have two switches one is a on off switch and the other is a three stage switch. So it would work as one light on two lights on all lights on.

If you can find an off/on/on switch that is dual pole then you can wire one side to control one circuit in either of the on positions and the other side to only turn on the second circuit in either the middle or the end "on" position. Simply jumper the middle and end tabs together for the 'always on' circuit.
