Weird Sound #273

Okay, quick question...

Upon turning the truck over (ignition-turning key) a weird compressed-air release/microphone pop sound is eminating from below the glove box. I don't think its stereo-based.

pressure release from Heater? Yo no Se..

any sage-like experiences with this?

It's an explosion in the distributor which draws clean air from the cabin below the glove box.

I think the fumes travel backwards from the carb to air cleaner to dizzy and then explode when you start the truck.

That would dovetail nicely with the improper routing of the dizzyside VCV vacuum line I have as a result of my desmogging efforts.
