I was going to post this in the 45 owners section, but looking for an answer fairly quickly.

This is a pic of the spring pins that came out my 65 Lv wagon. Pins on the left are the rear, right are the front.

Rear pins measure about 11/16 - 18mm
Front pins measure about 9/16" - 15 mm

Rear pins don't have that oval welded on, more of a flat spot on one side, I think you can see in the pics.

Front stock hangar bracket measures approx. 15/16" ish - 25 mm
Rear stock hangar bracket measures approx. 1 3/16" ish - 30 mm

New Parabolic springs are 35mm eye dia. on both ends.

Here comes the questions.

From the info I have gathered, the stock hangar bracket bushings should be 24 mm. I know the front and rear are both stock, so what's the deal? Seems like my only choices are either 24 mm or 35 mm?

Second, are the pins correct? Was the front smaller than the rear. I believe that these are the stock pins, I don't think they had been removed before?

I need new Greaseable pins, shackles and bushings and want to get them ordered ASAP! Who do I need to call to get the right stuff? And who and what should I be asking for?

Thanks, Matt

SOR has new ones, i used them on my 45pu PN#102-03pf-g $19.95 front and 102-03hh-g $23.99 rear. They are greasable pins. these are for stock size bushings, Call SOR they might be able to get you what you need.
By the way the ones you have are stock.

Ok, I'm figuring some stuff out here and I think I am understanding what I need. It is going to be a hodge podge of bushings, depending on what shackles I get.

Another question, I see SOR has many different sizes of bushings to fit different applications. What I don't see is a 1 3/8" (35mm) OD bushing to 18 mm ID, rear pins to new parabolic with 35 mm spring eyes.

I looks as though 11/16" id is as close as I can get, should I order the 11/16" to substitute for the 18mm or should I get the 5/8" id? I'm going to need 4 of these bushings for the rear spring pins directly to the new springs.

Thanks, Matt

Buy some polyurethane round bar from mcmaster carr and you can machine whatever bushing diameters you need if you are not able to find what you need.

those pins are stock. Pins are the same as FJ40 in the front, and FJ45 specfic in rear. Part of the reason aftermarket lift springs can be a pain on stuff like FJ45's is due to this exact problem: lack of bushings. I would worry about finding a bushing with the correct OD and drill out the ID for the pin. check the Toyota Trails article where tornadoalleycruiser(IIRC?) installed the parabolic springs in the FJ45 shorty which is identical frame/pin wise to the wagon.
