here's a couple pics of my top hose. If you have something in the way such as an AC compressor/other then you may have to bend some wire and bring home a few from the parts store. Here's a link with some pics showing what I mean.

I see what you mean with the alt looking at pics in your build thread. The bottom should work. For the top I would start with a top hose for whatever that engine came out of. That certainly has to address routing around the alt.

Another thing you may want to consider doing is to bend up a pipe and use a length of hose at each end for the connection.

20573. But again, measure your lower rad connection and buy the right one!!!!!!

That's amazing. I wasn't able to recall where I found the picture, but the work is excellent. Any data that you could come up with would be much appreciated.

On a somewhat related note, is there any chance that you would consider hiring me to work in your shop. I love that area of the country, and desparately want to move there.

So you crossed the part numbers, brought home the hoses, put them on/in position and somethings amiss. What's the problem?

Exactly. Poor fit on the top hose. I can put it on, but it is crimped and stretched more than I'd like in a few spots. The bottom doesn't even come close. I'm leaning towards the stainless steel units from Summit right now.

I give up. I don't know what to tell you and I'm getting tired of guessing.

I found mine by making a mental picture of what was needed, going to an autoparts store with a good selection and pulling everyone off the wall that I thought did, might or could be made to fit. Repeat 3 more times, cut up/ruin a few and return everything that doesn't fit. Then be sure to write down what works!

Your build is pretty impressive, and attention to detail awesome. I'm sure you can figue it out.

My shop did the installation of the ram jet in the blue FJ45 that is posted in Cirbo's photo. If you want, I can go back through my records and see if I can come up the the hose number for the bottom hose. The top hose is quite visable. My web site has a couple more photos.

Don-

Thanks for posting that pic on your site. I stumbled on this a while back and it was a life saver. I searched and searched for this top hose forever (with several HACK attempts of other hoses) and your pic made it easy.

I'd be interested in the lower hose # too if you find it.

Wow, $40-120. That kinda coin can buy lots of creativity.
