Zip tie a 19mm box/open to the body mount. I actually ended up using two zip ties for stability.

Then use a strap wrench from the comfort of a shop stool through the well. 20 minute removal. Also soaked with PB night before.

Oh, and Radflo 2.5" remote porn. Increased rear droop 2-7/8".

You didn't mention it, but I would recommend not attaching the lower shock mount if you want to do it that way. I'm no expert, but I don't think it's the best thing for the shock to spin it while the shaft remains stationary.

Bottom was removed, but that's the least of your worries. The strap will crimp the upper housing. This method would be for replacement only. Don't think many folks remove and replace with the same, but good point if that ever would need to happen.
