Coz I read somewhere that if the Veyron ran at its theoretical top speed, it would run out of gasoline in 12 minutes.

From the focus that looks like a bumby ride on that there closed course.
Tinkerer, if it was legal for me to go over 100mph i would, almost all the time. But its not, so i stick to the posted speed limit.
After over 60k miles of my heavy foot i dont seem to have that many problems. A slightly...raw...i guess you could call it, shift from 2nd to 3rd occurs depending on the % of throttle given. Must be from me downshifting getting off the highway....gota slow down 5670lbs somehow. Unlike what most of you believe, the LX brakes fade terribly. For the same weight almost, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo has brakes like you wouldnt believe. I drove my friends grandmas (Insert flame here) like Walter Rohrl on the nurburing and didnt notice much, if any fade.
anyways, here is for NMuzj100...that is where it starts to bounce.
(Performed on a closed course with a professional driver. Do not attempt.)

I don't know if it's a factory (i.e. universal) limiting, but the 100 here has an official top speed of 175 km/h. With stock tires (grandtrek) the limiter constantly kicks in at almost exactly 175 GPS speed, which is around 180 in the dash.
An indicated 180kph is roughly equal to our indicated 112mph. Do I hear 113mph anybody?I've been faster on the open road. With several miles visability. Maybe the 98s didn't get limiters ? Very smooth. 112 mph indicated. 116 mph calculated with 285s.
1Loud, like I told ya, you're not at max speed yet for the 100!
