85 SR5 4runner

1985 SR5 4runner

Specs,
Tires,
Five 35 X 12.50 X 15 Procomp Extreme mud terrains

Rear is bobbed 9" and the wheel openings are enlarged to fit 35s
Frame and Body are very clean ( did not come from the Northeast )

Tube work
Exo, Bumpers, Sliders are made out of 13/4" .120" wall DOM and is nice and tight to the body
The winch mount is set up for a warn (winch is not included)

Steering,
IFS box w/ flat pitman arm
Highsteer
Full knuckle rebuild
Modded toy pump w/ cooler

Suspension,
Mazda hybrid packs in the rear moved back 1"
Rears upfront
ubolt flip
13" travel gas shocks on all 4 corners
Ford shock towers on the front

Driveline,
94 22re w/ new timing chain and guides
5spd
Dual cases adapter from AA
T-case e brake and cross member from Allpro modified form more ground clearance
.250" wall drive shafts w/ spare rear
V6 rear third welded
4.10 gears

Brakes,
V6 booster and master
Vented rotors and V6 calipers up front. The front hubs are from a IFS truck used to gain track width
stock drums in rear w/ prop valve eliminated

Other odds and ends,
New full exhaust 2" from manifold to muffler 2.5" from muffler out
New cat and Dynomax straight through muffler
Sectioned fuel tank and stock skid ( I took out ~ 3.5" )
A/C converted into OBA w/ 2.5 gallon tank and air oil/water separator in back
I have the hard top for it but I have not cut it down to fit

Use as a DD

I don't see why you couldn't use this as a DD, I drove it around alot this year. For the cooler months I would want to put the hard top back on ( I have it but it is not cut down to match the bob) and enclose the shock mounts in the rear.

Here is a pic of this when I brought it home to show that it is not a New England rot box this was the factory paint...

Anyways I will drop the price down to 4200 I would really like to move this thing.

Anyone who saw this truck at FG knows how sick it is, the engineering of the exo is really clever, great deal for someone for sure.
