I guess I will have to change this to HDJ79 at some point but for now this works!
We got our RHS leaf perch built, double checked pinion angle, set caster both sides and did a flex test.
Tomorrow we work on flex test with steering and...
So now it is out and back up on the fab bench. Earlier in the build thread you can see we had it (and the rear) up on the bench for mock up. However, without weight on the chassis, everything at ride height ect ect ect it was all simply a guess...
Alright. Drum roll.
The Parabolics lifted the front almost 3" and the rear 1.5" giving it the perfect stance.
255/85-16s are a natural killer on these trucks.
The ride is MUCH improved.
The proper birfields arrived from Terrain Tamer. They come prepacked with Moly grease then a extra tube to mound it up after install

I don’t really want to turn it into something other than a 70-series. So we are sticking to that.
Got these adjusted a bit, welded in better too. Still welding and boxing them in to do though.
Cheers
I went ahead and grabbed this. I measured compared to a wide nose to see if a wide nose would fit in a narrow nose. It would but it is like 7-8” taller and I don’t want to deal with that hanging down below the frame rails here currently in this...
I took my first extended highway drive today to head into town and fill her up. It took 13 gallons (just shy of $100) of diesel to get both tanks full which means the previous owner gave me about 30 gallons of diesel when I bought it. I guess...
I'm sure I've shared this tip before but a Toyota jack when adding coils is clutch to get max stretch without undoing everything
All in.
Sitting pretty. I'm going to drink a beer now then I'll make measurements to see how far it came up
