I've got the discontinued OVS version of this same compressor .. but the mounting is the same. Started witih the Torfab bracket for the firewall but when I switched to dual batteries I had to remove it, as the compressor would bump into the...
Took two more pics of mine. You can see where I added the tape around the bottom of the hose that was touching the clip. I've had no engine work done around there so if it's not installed correctly, it was done at factory in Japan.
Thanks everyone.
I will install it red side toward the engine.
Not sure if I mentioned this, but the permanent code cleared after cutting off the end of the hose with a hole, reattaching, and driving a couple of hundred miles (~40 mile commute...
I just picked up the hose and the ends are marked with different color marks (lines). One end is red, one end is white.
On my vehicle the white end was down, attached to the hard line leading to the charcoal canister.
A prior poster suggested...
I had the exact same issue. @prharper connected the dots. Two feels like a pattern. Mine clearly wore through at contact with that wire bundle. Maybe people should consider preventively adding some protection to avoid this?
And….’it didn’t fix it, But I found the actual problem, so I would smoke test first starting on the engine side, it 20 seconds to figure out once I did that. This tear was on the bottom side of the hose

Vacuum Switching Valve Assembly Part Number: 25860-0S010 This is actually part of the Vacuum idle system (i believe) and not hooked into the Evap system, it...
Thank you very much.
Ordered. $24.32 list. I got it locally, since even the discounted price at online parts places was more expensive once shipping was included.
I used Sumitomo connectors from this site for my diff locker conversion. Maybe they have what you need?

I have a hose with a hole in it in my evaporative emissions system leading to very small vacuum leak OBD2 code (p0456).
The vehicle is a 2016 Land Cruiser.
I am having trouble locating it in the online parts lookups.
This hose runs from the...
Glad they didn't pass it. I found the vacuum leak. Took about 2 minutes once the smoke machine was set up.
In the engine bay there is a flexible hose connecting the hard line (goes back to the charcoal canister) to the vacuum purge valve bolted...
I agree. It's a modern analog experience. Just enough comforts to be better than an 80, but not enough to match a 200/250/300. We've only had ours for a few weeks, but so far, I am blown away with how much we like it, and I am far more obsessed...
