When I was replacing the rear brake pads on my Civic I thought that rotor would be perfect for a Pig parking brake.

Went shopping this morning, found something that should work.

Took me all day to change that out, put in 2 Fel-Pro gaskets this time. Was getting ready to start it and was admiring the way the intake and exhaust flanges matched, and saw this:

I did this on my old ‘79 when I went to a 70-series axle with the drum integrated e-brakes. Had California Push-Pull build a custom cable (spliced the front half of 55 with back of 60). Worked great 👍

Could you keep us updated on that? I would like to see how it works out as I wasn't thrilled about installing a Lokar parking brake handle.

Finished up the steering and just about done with the disc brake conversion on the 1972 55.

Had this issue on my 86 carb. it would stick open during shift changes when I engaged the clutch; I'd have to kick the throttle to get it to unhang... Likely glazed/ varnished/ gummed up throttle shaft. Could be flat spots on the b all studs...
