They do make 2 different flexible couplers.
The one to use with a turbo setup is TurboFlex Couplers with Interlock Liner

Not the Standard Flex Couplers with...
I would pay extra to have the downpipe come pre-wrapped with the insulation. It's not difficult, just messy and I hate the itchy fiberglass. Anyways, this is my exhaust solution for now. Exhaust parts from Amazon-GASP- 6" flex, 10" oal x2.5...
Uglina is doing awesome. I know you were wondering.
I'm ordering a new fuel tank. I've replaced everything else that might contribute to the fuel smell.
The clutch went soft the other day. Master was dry! I wonder the last time I checked it...
Thank you. I get a bit obsessive about the truck I want to build. Super hard to see it all through to completion since I am an 80% and good enough guy, but really want to hit the 100% on this one. Getting close. I am seriously considering...
I kind of go back and forth on the look of more modern wheels on a 60 series, plus I wanted to see what a little taller/wider tire looks like, so I stole the wheels and tires off of our HZJ-73 and threw them on last night. They are Fifteen52...
This thread is to share the adventures of my 2015 4Runner Trail Premium named Jane. Jane came into our lives two years ago when my then GF decided that she wanted an SUV. I had recently sold my 2000 LX470 and she didn’t feel her TL was up to...
Hey Mudders,
I was not sure where to file this properly in classifieds, but I have a brand new in box Dr. KDSS harness, switch, and fuse cover I need to get rid of. It's for the 2020+ 5th gen 4runner with KDSS. This is a great mod for more...
We simply added a spacer (10mm? IIRC) on the stock (SR5 not TRD) suspension when adding the ARB bullbar. Works and drives great.
It's not uncommon to see 2 or 3 fresh deer fresh deer kills on 30 mile drive. Narrow two lane, no shoulder...
If you have not completed this install yet the OEM connector for your brake controller should be easy to locate above the left hand side kick panel. From there assuming you got the plug and play kit the install should be pretty straight forward.
Hi all, recently purchased a 1995 HZJ75 and am in the process of getting the rig titled, registered, and ready to go home. Looking forward to tapping into this great resource!
I've got extra wheels laying around. Plan to find a used 285 to play with. I really wish a 255/80r17 would fit but that seems to be just that much more. Need to find a truck first. Its a GX or a FJC, what ever I find first that's in good shape.
Looking at buying a GX460 for my son and researching fitting 285’s on an otherwise stock truck.
Is the consensus you can fit a 285/70r17 spare with the 4Runner hitch and the DrKDSS upgraded fixed link? At the risk of lowering the sway bar...
Since you're local, I'd reach out to Tuan and get a single swing out if you plan on getting a new carrier. It's supported by the frame, but still swings out when you open the door. I have one on my GX and it's been great.
1. Lots of different places to get this inside, kind of depends on what you have wired up already. Good idea is to make something you can add to over time, if you plan to install more things. In my personal ride, I have a ignition hot wire...
This would be a good way of solving the hinge plane issue. Just comes down to your acceptance of loosing that vertical space in the cargo area. My Alaskan Malamute at the time veto'd said loss.
Instead of the fold up concept, maybe take an attic rack and look at the fold down concept. Obviously, the purpose of a cargo barrier is so cargo doesn't fly into the passenger compartment. (and vice versa to some extent). It really only need one...
I played around with the fold up concept. Given my limitations at the time it didn’t make sense economically to bring to market.
For my design the hard part was getting the top two mounting points on the same hinge plane. The rest was pretty...
My thought with the two piece design was the clamping force and having a little adjustment left and right.
Though thinking about it more, for simplicity sake I may go to a single piece.
I know the koan one is a metal bracket, which is fine for...
