April 6th run

Too nice of weather to not go out

When: Saturday April 6th

What: Tip Top Mine and ruins

Where: Table Mesa turnoff, follow river bottom/go up mountain to Tip Top mine (view is fantastic) and end up coming out West of Lake Pleasant. It should take most of the day.

9am at the Table Mesa turn off (go north on I-17, exit on Table Mesa Road, turn left over freeway and head north on the access road till it turns to dirt. Another 100 yards on the left is a staging area) Thats where to meet. Will leave shortly after 9am.

Stock vehicles?

From what I remember, its a pretty easy trail, isn't it? Would be OK for stock 4Runner?

I just ran that trail last week and it had a lot of rocks and some water. At least a 2" lift, one locker and 33's IMHO

Yep, me too (as a strong maybe). Seems like the weekends get filled up rapidly these days, but that's not far from home, and I haven't been on that trail before.

Myself and at least one of the rug rats are in. Just an FYI the BLM and the NRA is sponsoring a cleanup of the Table Mesa shooting area on the same day.

I just found out about the clean up very recently - a great thing for an area that needs it bad. Kudos to the clean up effort.

Looks like where we are meeting might be crowded but we will quickly leave that area and head out and away from there. Meet at 9am and leaving no later than 9:15 for a day of fun in the sun

Trying to estimate drive time from the east side. How long does it take to arrive at the table Mesa turn off from the 101/I-17 intersect?
