MaddBaggins
Remember the KnightRider!
The long awaited, often anticipated, always fun CSC C-Gap run. Yes ladies and gents, it's that time again. Last years run had 17 rigs. Thats a lot of rigs for a run on the Gap and because of some carnage we split the group, which made it a little easier to manage. I would like to limit this run to 12 rigs +/- a couple
If you haven't run this with us before, this is around a 10 hour day with a large group. We stop a number of times and everyone that wants a shot at the obstacles will get the chance. There are no bailout points, you either run the whole thing or turn around and go back. Pack food and drink for a long day. It can also get cold in there at that time so dress accordingly.
No alcohol! Never had an issue before, but I thought I would say it.
We're gonna run from Oracle to Catalina (20 miles)because I enjoy listening to everyone bitch about the sun in their eyes the first hour or so. Deal with it Spike!
When, Wednesday December 31st
Meet at 7:30 at Circle K @ 2000 W American Ave, Oracle, AZ for a 8:00 a.m. pullout
CB 14
Vehicle requirements, 4x4, high clearance, good tires. Armor and lockers for obstacles (there are bypasses). recovery points a must. I will have a winch and straps, if you have them, bring them. Spare tire a must (2 years in a row I tore sidewalls) any other spares and tools your rig might need.
Expect water, mud, snow and fun and any combination of the 4. I would like at least 1 backup trail leader in case we need to split the group again. If you know the trail well and are willing to lead a few rigs, let me know.
